Born in Athens in 1960.

In 1983 he graduated from Athens Dental School with a DDS degree (grade of “Very Good”).

Following his graduation he completed his military service as a dental surgeon of the Army Medical Corps.

In 1993-1994 he successfully completed the newly established post-graduate course in Periodontology at the University of Athens Dental School.

For a decade (1989-1999) he had been scientific affiliate of the Periodontology Clinic of the Dental School of Athens.

Since 1985 he has been maintaining his practice in Athens southern suburbs, offering comprehensive dental services spanning the whole spectrum of dentistry with emphasis on Periodontology and Implantology.

Doctor Malamis has been involved in implant dentistry since 1991. Having an experience of 28 years Dr. Malamis has been successfully treating the most challenging and demanding surgical cases of periodontitis, implants and bone grafts, implementing the most contemporary and minimally invasive techniques.

In 2012 he completed a 2-year Master’s course (Master of Science) in the use of lasers in dentistry from the RWTH University of Aachen (Germany). His topic of research was the effect of diode lasers on the surface of color coded implant cover screws.

Dr. Malamis is an official member of the Hellenic Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) and the Hellenic Association for Osseointegration.

Dr. Malamis participates in greek and international conferences on a regular basis. He has been remaining updated on the latest trends and therapeutic advances of dental science in order for the clinic to constantly maintain an optimal level of dental services for its patients.
