Born in Athens in 1985.
In 2009 he graduated from Athens Dental School with a DDS degree (degree grade “Very Good”).
In 2010 he completed his military service as a dental surgeon of the Hellenic Army Medical Corps.
In 2012 he completed a two-year Master course in the use of lasers in dentistry at the RWTH University of Aachen (Germany) earning his first Master of Science Degree (MSc).
During the time period of 2012-2015 Dr. Malamis specialized in the discipline of Periodontology and Implantology in U.S.A. at The Ohio State University, the oldest organized Periodontology program in U.S.A. During his residency, Dr. Malamis was trained in the management of the most severe periodontal cases, and the most complicated implant cases and in the application of the latest surgical and non-surgical therapeutic techniques.
Based on his performance and his overall presence Dr. Malamis was distinguished as “Chief Resident” of the program.
In 2016 following a successful completion of both oral and written examination Dr. Malamis became an accredited diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology (ABP).
Dr. Malamis is an official member of the Hellenic Society of Periodontology, the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP), the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), the American Board of Periodontology (ABP) and the International Team for Implantology (ITI).
Since 2015 he has been working with his father and colleague Dr. Andreas Malamis in the Malamis’ practices with emphasis on Periodontology and Implantology.
Since 2016 he has been a scientific affiliate of the department of Periodontology of the Dental School of Athens participating in the education of the dental students.
Aside from his clinical practice, Dr. Malamis actively participates in conferences and seminars locally and internationally by means of oral presentations, while at the same time he remains constantly scientifically updated for the benefit of the clinic’s patients.
