Vertical and Horizontal Bone Augmentation – Case study ΙΙ
In this case a guided bone regeneration procedure (GBR) was performed with the use of a resorbable collagen membrane and a combination of autogenous and allogenic bone graft.
BEFORE TREATMENT
Clinical picture. A significant horizontal bone deficiency is visible at the area of the first lower left molar. The existing bone loss does not allow the placement of a dental implant.
AFTER TREATMENT
Clinical picture. Increase in thickness of the bone ridge can be seen and as well as restoration of the bone deficiency.
